Do you have special effects?
Yes, we do offer special effects. There may be additional charges, so please let us know if you would like information on our special effects.

Will you take requests?
We accept requests only if you allow us to. If you don't want us to play requests, we will politely decline requests. It is entirely up to you - Your event is your event!

How do I choose the songs I want to hear?
When you book with us, we provide you with an online special event planner. Therefore you can choose all of your favorite songs anytime!  

Do you do this part time or full time?
Fast Lane Entertainment is a full time company. We have two full-time and six part-time employees.

Do I need a party planner, or wedding coordinator?
We will work with any individual that you designate as your wedding or party planner to ensure that your event is exactly as you want it. Fast Lane Entertainment employs experienced special event planners, therefore no planner is necessary. We also have a certified wedding coordinator on staff. We also coordinate with all your wedding professionals, such as photographers and video.

Do you carry insurance for your business? 
We certainly do. Do not hire a DJ that doesn't have insurance!

How much do you charge?
Our clients tell us over and over again that we are worth every penny that we charge and more!! That being said, we admit we are not the cheapest Disc Jockey in our area. If you are looking for the cheapest DJ in town, then we would not be the right fit for your needs.

We don't have packages per se, and we don't say we are $XXX per hour. We prefer to discuss your event with you, and determine what your wants and needs are before giving you a price. We don't like "cookie - cutter" weddings, and we don't price our weddings as such.

Do you accept credit cards? Do you accept checks?
Through our online planner, we are able to accept your credit card or electronic check payments. It is a completely safe and secure method. We also accept cash, money order, and checks.

How do we reserve you?
A retainer and a signed contract will hold your special event date. The balance will be due on the day of your show.

Do I pay for travel and setup?
Travel fees may be applicable, but very unlikely as our travel area is very extensive. There are no set-up or break-down fees. 

Do we pay the DJ a gratuity?
A gratuity is a way of saying "thank you" to your entertainer for making your day memorable. Only you can determine if your DJ is worthy of a gratuity!
